Spend four Thursday mornings in July at Second’s very cool Summer School for moms! Without cracking a book you can learn new ways to handle your closet, your checkbook and your kids. The Me and U program is designed for moms with children age 3 through those who have completed kindergarten and meets from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on July 2, 9, 16 and 23.

July 2: Study Hall
Every day can feel like a test when you’re trying to figure out what’s best for your child. Should I introduce the sippy cup? Is it time for swim lessons? Should I begin potty training? Unfortunately there are no textbook answers, but experienced moms Mimi Vestal and Amy McAtee have good advice to offer.
July 9: Wardrobe 101
The always classy and sassy Sharon Harrison has spent years honing her wardrobe wisdom and is ready to give us a lesson in accentuating the positive. Don’t miss our very own version of “What Not to Wear” and learn how to choose styles that work for your shape.
July 16: Final Exams
July 16—Final Exams: Speaking of style, did you know that children have different learning styles that can influence many other areas? Lou Martin and Nina Haley will help us study how these styles can affect our decisions about discipline, schooling and testing.
July 23 - Losing Your Lunch Money
It’s lack of planning, not the schoolyard bully, that really eats our lunch when it comes to managing our money. Brokke Shipmon will share some tips on how to create and live by a family budget that puts you back in control.
