“Wham-O! That is how this Bible study has hit me. It has affected everything from conversations with my daughter, to the way I pray, to the way I view and digest the world and all of the information bombarding our lives every day.” This is a quote from the exit survey taken after teaching The Truth Project four years ago, and if you are seeking greater clarity and courage regarding your Christian life, we are excited to repeat The Truth Project again this year for that purpose. If you have seen it before, you will glean so much more the second time. If you’ve never seen it, prepare to be introduced to the truth claims of God in a fresh way, and to be reminded that the Christian life is not what we give to God, but what God gives to us. The Truth Project is a biblical worldview series that addresses the need to marry our actions with our core beliefs, and this time around we will tweak and enhance that study with two new ones: a rich though small Richard Pratt book/study guide titled Every Thought Captive and a brand new workbook/DVD series on ethics and character called Doing the Right Thing by Chuck Colson, Robert George and Brit Hume. All of these together will encourage participants to examine how ethical and character issues relate to their lives at home, school, the workplace, or wherever. And, of course, as usual, we will also invite a few guest speaker friends to open spiritual truth to us through their personal stories. We hope you can join us.
