Each week, a mixture of lecture and small group discussions, led by adult teachers, emphasizes Christianity as a comprehensive worldview. Students are taught to think critically about truth generally, and to test the truth claims made by various aspects of the culture, including the Bible. Evidence for the reliability of the Bible is assessed and compared with evidence for other religious and ideological claims, including modern atheism. Once the truth of the Bible is established, a series of topical lessons applies biblical principles to matters affecting the lives of young people today. The year concludes with a general call to action in the Gospel and encouragement to shine God's light, in Christ Jesus, in and beyond our usual circles of influence.
