Class of 2010-2011

Amanda Bush, originally from Knoxville, TN, graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ethics. Amanda has served as a volunteer for Prison Fellowship Ministries and as a marketing assistant for their worldview ministry, BreakPoint, for two years.  Throughout high school and college, Amanda enjoyed serving on Student Government and in various governmental offices.  She participated in the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature for two years, serving on the Executive Council and Board of Directors.  Amanda is working for MCUTS during her Fellows year, and is living with Clay and Bisha Harrington and their children Lauren and Caleb.   

Olivia Coward was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and grew up in Charlotte, NC. She recently graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in non-profit studies. Olivia conducted research on several non-profits, and worked as a development assistant intern for the John Locke Foundation. While at NC State she was active in Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) where she had the opportunity to lead Bible study, serve on the leadership team, and go to Bay St. Louis to help with Katrina relief.  In the summer of 2008 she attended Focus Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. She also enjoyed working at Camp Hope, a summer camp for special needs adults and children, in Clemson, SC. Olivia loves cooking, traveling, music, and learning about other cultures. She is living with Larry and Kim Heathcott and their children Laura and Jack. Her internship is with Youth Villages. 

Margaret Cranford is the sister of former Fellow, Laura Ann Cranford, and the niece of 2PC members, Hugh and Peggy Stephens. Margaret is from Rock Hill, SC and graduated from Clemson University with a BA in History and Communication Studies. She was involved in RUF during her college years and served on the Clemson Student Government PR Committee, Student Alumni Council, and Order of Omega. Additionally, Margaret was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Service & Leadership Society as well as the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. She was an active member of Delta Delta Delta, serving as secretary and vice president of membership. Most of her summers during college were spent as a counselor and group leader at Camp Greystone. She also spent one summer studying in London, England. Margaret is living with Eleanor and Pete Hastings and their daughter Caroline. She will be working for the Second Presbyterian Foundation, World Missions, and Mission USA. 

Matt Gilchrist, from Johnson City, TN, is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he majored in business management and minored in marketing. Matt was an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and was involved in Reformed University Fellowship. He served as a member of the Student Alumni Counsel as well as a member of the Fraternity Judicial Board. While in Oxford, Matt volunteered with Big Brother/Big Sister of Mississippi and was involved in Mercy Ministries. Matt is living with Lesa and Don Stanfill. He will be interning for Dan Patterson at Silverleafe Capital Partners.

Lizy Heard has been blessed to grow up at 2PC, and is a former Junior High Summer Intern. After spending her 2009 fall semester studying graphic design and South African History in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, she graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasizing in graphic design. At Ole Miss, Lizy was on both the Chancellor’s Honor Roll and the Dean’s Honor Roll, and was the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award as well as an Art Merit Scholarship. Lizy was active in Delta Gamma Fraternity where she served as honor board director and assistant t-shirt director. She was a member of various art and advertising clubs on campus and in 2008 served as a volunteer for the Presidential debate held on campus. Lizy will be working for the Church Health Center in Communications. She is living with Clay and Bisha Harrington.

Lizzy Rhea, another daughter of 2PC, is following in the footsteps of her sister and former Fellow Emily Rhea. Lizzy is a graduate of Washington and Lee University with a BS in Geology, where her funded research project was chosen along with only four other projects from various departments on campus to be presented to the wives of the Board of Trustees. She was an active participant and worship leader in Reformed University Fellowship. Lizzy remained active in the community throughout her college years, volunteering with the 2PC youth during her summers, as well as tutoring at Streets Ministries. Lizzy will be working for the Neighborhood Christian Center and coaching at St. Mary’s Episcopal School. Her host family is Laura Pillow.

Reid Wesson, also from Memphis and 2PC, graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BA in Accountancy.  While at Ole Miss he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He was also a member Sigma Chi Fraternity, serving as chaplain and secretary.  Reid was involved in both RUF and Campus Crusade during his college days and ministered to the community through Big Brothers/ Big Sisters and Manna Feeding Ministries. The 2PC youth will remember him as a two-time summer youth intern. He has been on mission trips to Mexico, Baltimore, and Italy. Reid is living with Mary and Jimmy Edwards and interning at Reliant Capital Management.
