Second Conservatory of Music
Are you interested in improving your musical abilities? This fall an opportunity begins for professional, personal instruction by the Conservatory staff at Second.
What is the Conservatory?
The Second Conservatory of Music provides quality music education in a Christian environment for all ages and abilities. As a ministry associated with the music department, our program is designed to build musical potential in preparation for future service in ministry, musical performance, and enjoyment.
The Conservatory is open to anyone who seeks to improve musical proficiency or enrich musical gifts. We are dedicated to providing quality music instruction by highly-qualified Christian teachers.
Individualized instruction is offered on a per-semester basis. All lessons will be given at Second Presbyterian Church and lesson times are arranged between instructor and student.
Private lessons are currently offered in the following disciplines:
- Voice
- Piano
- Pipe Organ
- Flute
- Guitar
- Percussion
- Violin
- Cello

What Does it Cost?
Tuition for 13 lessons is $286 for members of Second, $305.50 for non-members. Tuition may be paid in full by check before the first lesson, or half before the first lesson and the remainder paid by October 11, 2010.
How Do I Register?
Registration for the fall semester is available now online. Registration is $25 for individuals, with a maximum of $50 per family.
