The Shine Ministry strives to effectively communicate the gospel to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, and to eliminate barriers that prevent them and their families from living in community with the body of Christ.

Second is hosting Vacation Bible School on June 3-6 from 9:00-11:45am!
There are 2 options for Shine participants at VBS:
- Shine classroom (7th grade and up): Sign-up to participate in the Shine classroom. Please reach out to shine@2pc.org with extenuating circumstances. Age exceptions may apply.
- Kid's classroom (pre-k through 7th grade only): Sign-up to participate in a kid's classroom with typical peers. After registering, reach out to for additional accommodations as needed (a buddy may be available for your child).

RESPITE Nights
Respite care is a short-term period of rest for primary caregivers provided by a third party. We are excited to offer respite nights for families who are part of the Shine Ministry. Learn more about why we offer respite care.
Next Respite Nights: June 25 and July 30, 5:30-8:00pm
Pizza will be served for dinner to all those that register in advance! All must register to attend. Stay tuned for the registration link!
