Not to Be Served, But to Serve.
"Good service" brings to mind speedy waiters, friendly cashiers, or efficient technical support lines. In other words, someone serving us. But in God's economy, "good service" is something entirely different – it means us as Christians serving others as Christ served us.
Willingly. Sacrificially. Personally.
CityServe 2008 will once again get us out into Memphis for a churchwide day of service, but will also focus on our own personal commitments to begin impacting our city for Christ day in and day out.
