Second offers many different studies for men who want to learn, discuss, and grow spiritually alongside other men of the church.
MEN’S INTENSIVE
The purpose of Men’s Intensive is to provide a space where men in this city can grow and be encouraged as we think through and discuss the issues that impact our lives. Led by Todd Erickson, this seven-week, discussion-based study is available for all men. It meets in the College Room on Tuesdays at 6:00am. The registration fee ($35 per seven-week session) includes a notebook with everything you will need. In order to get the most out of this study, we encourage that you try to come every week. Each week we look at a different topic.
The next session begins September 2024. Note: Although MI1 and MI2 met previously, they are NOT prerequisites to this session.
A typical morning will look like this:
6:00–6:05am: Opening Prayer and Announcements
6:05–6:15am: Table Check-in Time (1 minute-ish for each man)
6:15–6:35am: Introducing/Teaching the Topic
6:35–7:25am: Organized Table Discussions
7:25–7:30am: Closing Remarks

AMEN
AMEN is a rich time of Bible study and fellowship that equips men to be the husbands, fathers, and business or community leaders they are meant to be.
This group will spend the Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024 studying the Gospel of John. Lessons will be taught in rotation by Todd Erickson, Barton Kimbro, and George Robertson. They meet in the Fellowship Hall on Thursdays at 6:00am. Registration is required ($105 per semester) and includes breakfast and a binder with weekly printed study notes. Breakfast is served at 6:00am, and teaching begins at 6:30.

SENIOR Men's STUDY
This is a Bible study that is meant to provide a later option for senior men who desire to stay connected outside of Sunday worship/Sunday School times.
David Bowen leads this study in room C-310 on Wednesdays at 11:00am. The Summer 2024 session begins May 15 and will meet weekly through July 31 (excluding July 3). We will be using Navigators’ Design for Discipleship series, Books 5 and 6, which are available in the Bookmark Bookstore; please purchase Book 5 BEFORE our first session.
All who are interested are welcome to stay after the study for lunch which can be purchased from our 2PC kitchen (a hot lunch or salad will be available; credit card payment only).
