Second offers many different studies for men who want to learn, discuss, and grow spiritually alongside other men of the church.
MEN’S INTENSIVE
This seven-week, discussion-based study is available for all men. The purpose of Men’s Intensive is to provide a space where men in this city can grow and be encouraged as we think through and discuss the issues that impact our lives.
The next session will meet in the Youth Lounge on Tuesdays at 6:00am, starting September 10 and going through October 29. Each week, we will look at a different topic of the theme, "Give Me Something to Believe In." The registration fee ($35 per seven-week session) includes a notebook with everything you will need. In order to get the most out of this study, we encourage that you try to come every week.
AMEN Bible Study
AMEN is a rich time of Bible study and fellowship that equips men to be the husbands, fathers, and business or community leaders they are meant to be.
Starting September 5, this group will spend the Fall of 2024 and Spring of 2025 studying the book of Acts in the Fellowship Hall on Thursdays at 6:00am. Lessons will be taught in rotation by Todd Erickson, Barton Kimbro, and George Robertson. Registration is required ($105 per semester) and includes breakfast and a binder with weekly printed study notes. Breakfast is served at 6:00am, and teaching begins at 6:30. Older Men's STUDY
This is a Bible study that is meant to provide a later option for senior men who desire to stay connected outside of Sunday worship/Sunday School times.
Starting September 11, the fall semester of this study will meet on Wednesdays from 11:00am-12:00pm in room C310. David Bowen will lead this study on biographical studies of Old Testament men, teaching how to conduct a biographical study, how to apply the results of it, and even how to share what we learned with someone else. All who are interested are welcome to stay after the study for lunch which can be purchased from our 2PC kitchen (a hot lunch or salad will be available; credit card payment only).
