The goal of the Youth Ministry at 2PC is to lead students in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, the church, and His work in the world. From 6th grade to college, students have an opportunity to get involved in a 2PC community.
Quest is a ministry designed just for 6th graders. Students spend time together in fellowship, playing games, and studying important questions regarding the Bible, faith, doubt, the Gospel, and what it means to be a follower of Christ. Quest meets every Wednesday night, fall semester only, from 6:15-7:30 in Room E2121.
3 Degrees is 2PC’s junior high ministry. The focus of the group, comprised of students from 15 different schools, is the development of their relationship with Jesus Christ, the church body, and the community and world around them. In a world filled with distractions, it’s easy to lose sight of God and of His purpose for our lives. Through Scripture-based teaching, small groups, and community fellowship, students are encouraged to daily pursue a personal relationship with the Lord and to lead lives centered on Him.
True North is 2PC’s senior high ministry. Through Bible studies and small groups, students are supported and encouraged in their growing relationship with the Lord. Mission trips and service projects also provide students with opportunities to engage with and serve their community and to understand God in a more global context.
Campus Outreach is a college ministry that seeks to train students to become mature and devoted followers of Christ. Once they graduate, students are then equipped to share the Gospel with others, regardless of the field or vocation to which they’ve been called. Under the supervision of 2PC, Campus Outreach Memphis welcomes students from all denominations, and has established ministries on several college campuses, including University of Memphis and Rhodes College.
