CC Electives: September 13 & 20

On Sundays, September 13 and 20, we’re taking the first of many small steps to resume CC fellowship on campus by hosting six elective classes during the regular CC hour (beginning at 9:45am) between the morning worship services. A full list of class options is below.

Note: Seating is limited. Please register to reserve your spot. Each adult should complete an individual registration. Masks are required on campus. At this time, we will not offer nursery or children’s Sunday School. CCs currently meeting on Zoom will continue as planned.

Hearing from Young Adult Community

In this class, led by Brett Wynne, Artez Henderson, and Jon McGuirt, we'll hear testimonies from our young adult community groups about why community is vital to their spiritual life. (Fellowship Hall)

Navigating the Maze

Pastors Brandon Terry and Dan Burns will teach this course about living well in God's Kingdom when there are no clear moral laws telling us explicitly what to do. (DB11)

Contentment

One of the great mysteries of Christianity is contentment. What we must learn is that contentment is not something that's found; it is an attitude. Pastor Brett Powell will lead this class about a Christian secret (hint: contentment) during these challenging times. (PDS Cafeteria)

Redeeming the Time

Our lives are crazy busy. This world is crazy! How can we live with purpose, peace, and joy? Pastor Todd Erickson has some ideas found in Scripture! (C100)

Our City, My Neighborhood

Brian Lewis, Director of Domestic Outreach, will lead this class, which is a great primer to head into CityServe Sunday (September 27). This group will discuss how we can seek shalom for our city, together, through our prayers, discussions, and service. (C310)

Isaiah

We learn in the book of Isaiah about God’s plan of grace and glory for those who trust in Him. Pastor Gerry Peak will lead this class through this incredible prophetic book. (Chapel)

Worship

The worship of God is our highest calling as human beings. Our worship is an exciting and dynamic dialogue with the Creator of the universe who desires a relationship with us through Jesus Christ!
