Director of Jr. High Ministries

The Director of Junior High Ministries is responsible for the spiritual leadership and development of specific ministries for Jr. High students (6th-8th grade). The primary objective is evangelism with the goals of bringing students to a progressive commitment to Jesus Christ, a progressive commitment to the Body of Christ, and a progressive commitment to the work of Christ in the world.

Graphic Designer

Second Presbyterian Church is seeking a highly motivated, creative individual with strong communication and organizational skills for a full-time, in-office role. This individual would be responsible for designing a wide range of communications materials to support the mission of the church and its related ministries. Second Presbyterian places a high value on excellence and offers a competitive salary based on experience.

Key Skills/Competencies

    • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to produce print and web materials
    • 2-3 years experience in graphic design, including multi-page layout and development of promotional pieces
    • Understanding of social media best practices to deliver concise and compelling messaging to multiple channels
    • Ability to manage print strategies to meet project budget, including making paper/print medium selections and selecting/working with vendors
    • Strong people skills that enable working well with clients and co-workers
    • Ability to manage many projects with overlapping deadlines

Housekeeping Staff 

Night/weekend shift position to perform general housekeeping duties in a church setting as well as breakdown and set up of room furnishings including tables, chairs and desks to transition multi-purpose rooms from a Sunday church use to week-day school setting. Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift 30 lbs. required.
