Providing care for family members can be a difficult and often lonely process. On March 23-24, the Caring Ministry will offer Hope For the Caregiver, a two-day conference designed to provide caregivers with encouragement and hope from God’s Word as well as from other caregivers.
Speakers for the conference will include Dr. Paul Neal and Dr. Ted Baldick of the Christian Psychological Center, Sarah Sadlow, Tricia Aiken, pastors Todd Erickson, Dick Cain, and David Bowen, and more.
Sessions will go from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. each day. Topics for the conference will include:
- Strengthening the Family While You Care
- Why Me? Am I Being Punished?
- Strategies to Reduce Stress
- Coping with Terminal Diagnosis
- Help: How to Find It and Ask for It
The cost for the conference is $40 for one day or $50 for both days. Lunch is included and will be served at 12:30 p.m. both days. Registration can be done online or by calling 454-0034.
