Bob Coleman
Chief Operating Officer
Bob became a member in 1982, professing then that his desire was to “serve God in whatever way He desires me to do so, in whatever way I can have the greatest impact for the Kingdom, and where there is the greatest need.” He is our current Staff Committee Chair, is a member of the Steering Committee, a World Missions Strategic Partner Liaison, and is a leader in the Waring/Mendenhall Parish. In addition, he volunteers regularly in our nursery and with the Memphis Fellows (coordinated by his wife, Deborah). Over the years, he’s travelled on many mission trips and chaired the World Missions Committee, served as a deacon, taught children’s Sunday school, sang in the choir, provided guidance to the 2PC Foundation, and more.
After several decades at Raymond James and Associates, Bob felt the Lord calling him to serve as Chief Operating Officer at 2PC, taking over for Ron Hickman in February 2023 after Ron's 10 faithful years of service. Bob’s responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church, including staffing, finance, facilities, communications, campus security, and food service.
