Herb and Heather have lived and served at the Annoor Sanatorium in Jordan for over 40 years. Herb is an administrator and Heather is a nurse. Annoor Sanatorium treats tuberculosis, including multi drug-resistant cases as well as other pulmonary diseases in patients among the Bedouin population as well as patients from other parts of the Middle East. The patients often require extended stays at the hospital and are ministered to physically as well as spiritually showing in a very tangible way the love of the Savior to “the least of these,” sharing the good news of the Gospel. The medical personnel also operate a mobile dental clinic serving the isolated Bedouin communities in the desert. This year also marked the passing and home going of Annoor’s co-founder, Aileen Coleman, who ministered for nearly seven decades.

2026 Prayer Requests

• Pray for the volunteer staff at the Sanatorium as they continue to address a changing clinical environment of pulmonary and now non-pulmonary diseases.

• Pray for favorable assessment and certification by the Jordanian government with respect to the sanatorium.

• Pray for Herb & Heather as they have announced their retirement plans and are urgently seeking those who will step into their roles to continue this good work.
