As classically trained musicians, Roger and Abi Lowther felt led to use their musical talents to serve the Lord in Japan. Roger is an elder and director of Faith & Art at Grace City Church Tokyo, founder and director of Community Arts Tokyo, and coordinator for the MAKE Collective, a global network of artists who are working in foreign missions. Some exciting highlights from the last twelve months include provision of a new worship space for Grace City Church, the release of new books by Roger, “The Tsunami Violin” and “Hidden Beauty: Seeing God in Japan,” and a thriving arts intern ministry at the church.

Pray for guidance in Roger’s future ministry focus at Grace City Church as he continues his seminary studies over the course of this next year and seeks ordination.

Pray for the Lowther Family, especially Abi as she continues to grieve the loss of her mother, father, and niece in 2025.
