Vacation Bible School

June 1–4 • 9:00–11:45am
We’re so excited for this year’s Vacation Bible School! Together, we’ll explore the Book of Romans and follow Paul’s incredible journey to Rome in a way that’s engaging and fun for kids through teaching, music, dancing, creative crafts, games, and snacks.
Registration closed on May 20. To help us prepare well, we will not be able to accept walk-in registrations.
VBS Sunday: June 7
We look forward to having our VBS participants lead us in singing at Sunday Morning Worship at 8:15am on June 7 for VBS Sunday! If you ordered a VBS t-shirt, we'd love for you to wear it on Sunday!
We’ll close out the week that evening with another Gathering on the Grounds at 5:00pm, an outdoor evening of live music, community, and worship on the Poplar Field. There will be free dinner (hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings), followed by a short, casual worship service at 6:00. This Gathering on the Grounds will have a special VBS twist, so you might see some pies in the face...

- Sunday, May 31, from 9:45-10:45am in the KidZone
- Sunday, May 31, during volunteer training from 3:30-5:00pm
- Monday morning, June 1, outside of the West Entrance

Adult Volunteers: We need many volunteers to make this VBS an amazing experience for our kids! Nursery is available for younger children of volunteers.

Other Ways to Support VBS
There are many ways to help support the kids and volunteers before the actual week of VBS—from decorating and praying to dropping off snacks.

Bring Snacks for our VBS Volunteer Hospitality Room: As a small thank you to the hundreds of amazing leaders who make VBS happen, consider buying or baking a snack for our VBS Volunteer Hospitality Room! - Bring Snacks for Kids: Over the course of the VBS week, children consume approximately 7,800 individually wrapped snacks! Please consider contributing to our snack drive! Pick-up a box of any of the following, individually wrapped items and drop them off in the Nursery—Cheeze-its, Veggie Straws, Gold Fish, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars. Sunday School classes will also be collecting specific snacks for VBS; reach out to your class leader to find out what your class is assigned.
- Donate to Cover a Teen Helper T-shirt: We’re so grateful for the many teen helpers who make VBS so special for our children! As a token of our gratitude, each teen will receive a Teen Helper T-Shirt at no cost to them. Please consider donating a t-shirt or two to thank our teens!

Set-up and Tear Down: We need lots of hands to help us set-up and tear-down our VBS decor! All are welcome and childcare will be provided.
- Join Us in Prayer: Please join us in asking God to do great things in the lives of children and their families this VBS! Specifically, we are asking God for:
- Five new families to be welcomed into 2PC and join our church
- Five children to make a decision to trust and follow Jesus as their Savior during VBS!
Student Support
Our goal is to foster an inclusive atmosphere where students with intellectual and physical disabilities receive our unwavering support. We are ready to provide extra assistance as needed, catering to individual needs to ensure that every attendee can thrive and engage with the gospel message.
