WORSHIP
We pray to be a church growing in number and ethnic diversity joyfully ordering our lives around the means of grace—God’s Word, prayer, and corporate worship.
Psalm 95:6–11; Acts 2:42–47; Hebrews 10:24-25; Revelation 7:9
10-Year Objective
Double the number of those who engage in corporate worship, while increasing ethnic diversity in worship services to twenty-five percent.
2026-27 Goals to Meet Objective
• Add 200 new members by encouraging those in our worship community to attend Inquirers.
• As a church family, we aim to extend 500 personal invitations this year, with the hope of welcoming 120 new and returning regular worship attenders.
REACH
We pray to be a church whose members seek the Shalom of Memphis and raise up worshipers worldwide by leading our neighbors at home and abroad into a personal relationship with Christ through evangelistic conversations and compassionate acts of service.

10-Year Objectives
Engage 1,000 members in evangelism to add 500 members by conversion.
Engage 3,500 members with international and local partners, committed to working together for a collective impact.
2026-27 Goals to Meet Objectives
• Lead 160 members into evangelistic engagement with unbelieving neighbors.
• Lead 450 members into missional engagement with international and local partners

GROW
We pray to be a church of Jesus followers who are being formed into His likeness, growing in our devotion to God, to God’s people, and to God’s Kingdom, and making disciples who do the same.

10-Year Objective
Deploy 2,500 members as disciple-makers (1,000 of whom will be in next-generation ministry).
2026-27 Goals to Meet Objective
• Eighty percent of Second Presbyterian Church’s active members will be able to articulate and apply our definition of Spiritual Formation—“Growing in devotion to God, God’s People, and God’s Kingdom.”
• Lead and equip 100 members to each develop one other disciple-maker

SHARE
We pray to be a church community that generously shares our time, spiritual gifts, financial resources, and physical spaces, using our campus as a welcoming hub for worship, outreach, and spiritual formation.

Align all of our financial systems and facilities to support our mission.
2026-27 Goals to Meet Objective
• Support Financial Alignment Commission to continue its work.
• Utilize the Capital Replacement Reserve Fund to address deferred maintenance.
• Develop plan for future facility needs in light of Vision 2035
