My Cup of TEA’s mission is to walk with women beyond the boundaries of poverty and neglect and assist them in building stable lives. MCT transforms lives by providing meaningful employment packaging and selling tea, nurturing cross-cultural and trusting relationships, fostering respect and understanding, and prioritizing and demonstrating authentic community with the women they serve and their neighbors in Orange Mound.

GET INVOLVED

• Lead lectures and Bible studies; provide materials for spiritual growth
• Mentor one of the women
• Assist in the workshop, where furniture is restored and sold; help in the gardens
• Offer guidance in skills such as marketing and sewing
• Volunteer to provide classes for growth
• Teach painting, jewelry-making, and other crafts
• Bring a nutritious lunch for employees
