Children: Bella (Deji) - Foster Child
David and Lisa labor among the mountain people of Central Asia utilizing their training and professional skills. Their ministry focuses on consulting, training, counseling, one-on-one discipleship, and evangelism. They also train and equip some leaders of the local church. They face significant travel restrictions linked to their fostering of Bella, yet Dave and Lisa creatively persevere. They are using DBS (Discovery Bible Study) with locals and expats in their city. Many of their students (representing at least 30 different nations) participated in a DBS small group and learned how to lead one with friends and family back home. Praise the Lord for the baptisms of mountainous people, locals, and expats last year. Dave and Lisa trained those who shared, led people to the Lord, and did the baptisms.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for physical, mental, and spiritual health of their family.
- Pray for their foster child Bella to receive medical care and possible gene therapy for her eye (partial vision). Pray for a passport which is needed to be treated.
- Pray for the continuous multiplication of DBS small groups and discipleship groups in the local church.
