Chris and Debbie Gibson

Missionary Care  

Chris and Debbie have served overseas for 20 years through World Outreach by providing counseling and pastoral care to missionaries and their families. Based in Hungary, they host the "Sunrise House," where servants taking the message of Christ to the Muslim world can be refreshed during times of crisis on the field. Seeing the need for missionary care grow rapidly, they have added members to their team and received training in trauma, marriage counseling, and even wound care as the spiritual warfare of this world brings many wounded workers to their door. Chris and Debbie are so thankful for the prayers they have received while in the US recovering from recent health issues. They are also thankful that even in their absence, the mission house continues to host those in crisis, as 17 members sheltered there recently. We are so thankful for their service to God's servants. 

Prayer Requests (Updated 7/31/24):

• The owners of Sunrise House are moving back to run the house, so Chris and Debbie are losing their lease. Pray for them as they move out in August and seek wise counsel from their WO leadership regarding where to relocate this aspect of their ministry.
• Praise for new member care team members, the Furrs, who live and minister out of Scotland. Pray for strong relationships building and a joint vision for their future ministry.
• Pray that the Lord continues to sustain the Gibsons physically, spiritually, and financially as they minister to so many.
