Greg and Elizabeth have recently returned to their country of service with their team after making the difficult decision to evacuate for a short time due to nearby conflict in the Middle East. They are celebrating the achievements of new milestones in language proficiency, which has greatly aided in the ability to pray for and share with neighbors on home visits. They were even able to facilitate a Bible study with a local family of new believers! They continue to partner with their host church and consistently minister to Muslim-background refugees, many from Syria. One ongoing ministry equips Syrian women with crochet skills and provides yarn to make blankets for other refugees living in areas that are very cold.  

Prayer Requests:

• Pray for emotional and spiritual well-being amid stress and escalating tension in the Middle East. 
• Pray for patience and perseverance in their ministry to refugees, many of whom have suffered great wounds, hesitant to trust others, and often reluctant to hear the gospel. 
• Pray for the families of new believers and that the ongoing Bible study would draw them closer to the Lord each day.
