Church Planting

Greg and Elizabeth have recently returned to their country of service with their team after making the difficult decision to evacuate for a short time due to nearby conflict in the Middle East. They are celebrating the achievements of new milestones in language proficiency, which has greatly aided in the ability to pray for and share with neighbors on home visits. They were even able to facilitate a Bible study with a local family of new believers! They continue to partner with their host church and consistently minister to Muslim-background refugees, many from Syria. One ongoing ministry equips Syrian women with crochet skills and provides yarn to make blankets for other refugees living in areas that are very cold.  

Prayer Requests (Updated 7/31/24):

• Pray for their busy ministry, and for wisdom on how to use their time and still have ample rest, and to destress from tension of daily living in their city.
• Pray for continued progress in language skills.
• Pray for strengthening of discipleship among the believers they serve with, especially in leadership training. May these believers multiply by sharing the Gospel and discipling those they lead to faith.
