Alicia Hubbard returned to serve in an administrative role with Campus Outreach in Lusaka, Zambia in 2023. Alicia previously served in Lusaka and, upon her return to the U.S., felt the Lord calling her to return in a long-term capacity. In her new position, she focuses on equipping team members, as well as building relationships and ministering to students in the nearby universities. A few ways that they have connected with students this year is through Thursday game nights and a Friday series titled “Who is Jesus?” In the fall, they held their fourth annual Leadership Project with over 100 students participating and an event to serve and share the gospel with leaders at a local orphanage. Alicia is also thankful for a growing partnership with the orphanage and loves getting to know the children there as an additional ministry opportunity.
Prayer Requests (Updated 7/31/24):
- Pray for Alica and her team as they navigate many team member transitions off staff this year.
- Pray that God will raise up more laborers as the harvest is PLENTIFUL!
- Pray for the work that the CO Memphis short-term team has done. Ask that there would be fruit with many professions of faith that lead to lifelong followers of Christ.
