Church Planting
Second has supported the agency Michael helps lead for over ten years, but it was just a year ago that Michael and Maria became personal partners with us. He grew up in a Christian home and attended church regularly but did not know the Lord personally. When he was sixteen, someone clearly explained the Gospel to him, and he put his trust in Jesus. He became interested in international work while in college. In 1990 He felt the Lord leading him to work with Muslims in South Asia, where he has continued to serve. The couple coach national church planters who share the good news with thousands of people who have never heard it, and then form churches with those who have responded. They also travel to their various ministry hubs to review the work of the past year and make plans for the coming year.

Pray for Michael and his team as they assist locally with relief efforts after a typhoon; providing education, food, and water for the victims and for their collaboration with the local Health Center to conduct health checks and provide medicine.

Pray for God to continue to prepare the hearts of Muslims to be open to hear the Gospel and respond in faith.

Pray for the library ministry which draws local neighbors in to borrow books to read and provides a safe place to make friendships and share good news.
