National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer, observed each year on the first Thursday in May, is a special opportunity to pause and lift our nation before the Lord. First established by Congress in 1952, and rooted in a history of prayer that began even before America’s founding, this day reminds us of the power and necessity of prayer for our country and its leaders.
On Thursday, May 1, we invite you to spend time in prayer—wherever you are—asking God for His healing, guidance, and blessing over our church, city, nation, and world.
A guide is attached as a helpful resource as you pray.
