Recalibrating Your Calendar

If your calendar could talk, what would it say about you? About your priorities? Your ambitions? Your awareness of your limitations? And to what extent is your current calendar in alignment with the priorities Christ has for you, including your spiritual renewal and rest?
There’s not one “right” way for a Christian to shape her schedule. Nor do we have control over the inevitable demands that come in various seasons. But the Bible has something to say about how we believers can steward our time and energy in a manner that promotes flourishing even in life’s most grueling seasons.
So, let’s call a time out. Let’s huddle up and strategize about how to navigate our generation’s pull toward chronic busyness. (Even though the forum will add another item to your calendar!)
Our forum will explore the Bible’s wisdom about calendar stewardship and seek to apply that wisdom grace-fully to our unique sets of circumstances. We will aim for each participant to make progress in recalibrating her own calendar according to Christ’s heart for her and also, on that foundation, to make progress in helping others do the same.
