Allison

Medical Training / Relational Evangelism 

Allison, daughter of Dan and Catherine and sister to Jackie (all also listed in this guide), works as an occupational therapist and is involved through her agency in relational evangelism. Allison is visiting several different churches in her host city, but currently is attending Word of Life Church. Since arriving in the country in the late summer last year, Allison has spent most of her time doing language study and building relationships with those in her profession and with local believers. Allison is working to deepen friendships with local believers through church activities, her landlord, and those teaching her the language. Allison is spending time getting to know her mission teammates and feels that they are warm and hospitable. 

Prayer Requests (Updated 7/31/24):

• Pray that the meetings with the World PT representative will happen and lead to more projects in her city. Pray for wisdom and fruitfulness.
• Pray for the Medical Academy project, that they can conduct a needs assessment for education topics for the clinic. Pray for the rehab team and their willingness to facilitate relationships with the Academy.
• Pray for her fiancé Jeremy as he spends several weeks with Allison studying Russian and exploring her city. Pray for the Lord to continue to guide them as they plan for their wedding in December.
